Hi!  I’m Sandi Weaver, and a CPA, a CFP®, and a CFA®.   

I’m a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA).  I’ve worked on our Public Awareness Committee in the local FPA chapter since 2009.  I’ve written for financial planning columns in The Kansas City Star newspaper and online paper.  I’ve appeared on KCUR’s Up-To-Date public radio show to talk money with host Steve Kraske! 

I earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, which is the pinnacle of designations in the investment field. CFAs master complex studies in portfolio management, quantitative analysis, businesses, stocks, bonds, and economics. I’m a member of the CFA Institute of course.  Before starting my own financial planning firm, I cut my teeth working with an investment management firm serving high net worth individuals. 

I’ve long been a member of the Missouri Society of CPAs and an active member of our Wealth Management Committee.  In the past I’ve served as the state chair of the Personal Financial Planning Committee, and as chair of the Financial Planning Committee for the Kansas City Chapter.  For several years I helped organize financial planning conferences for the Society.  It was a wonderful way to “stack the deck” with national experts on areas I wanted to learn more about. 

I graduated magna cum laude from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.
