Hi!  I’m Sandi Weaver, and a CPA, a CFP®, and a CFA®.   

I’m a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA).  I write financial planning articles for The Kansas City Star newspaper and online paper.  I regularly attend local FPA seminars, and an annual conference/symposium (preferably in an awesome location!). I worked on our Public Awareness Committee in the local FPA chapter from 2009 – 2024. I appeared on KCUR’s Up-To-Date public radio show to talk money with host Steve Kraske! 

I earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, which is the pinnacle of designations in the investment field. CFAs master complex studies in portfolio management, quantitative analysis, businesses, stocks, bonds, and economics. I’m a member of the CFA Institute.  Before starting my own firm, I cut my teeth working with an investment management firm serving high net worth individuals. 

I’m a member of the Missouri Society of CPAs and was an active member of our former Wealth Management Committee. I still write technical articles for The Asset, which is the professional statewide journal of the Missouri Society.  I served as the state chair of the Personal Financial Planning Committee, and as chair of the Financial Planning Committee for the Kansas City Chapter.  I spearheaded organizing the financial planning conferences for the Society.  It was a wonderful way to “stack the deck” with national experts on areas I wanted to learn more about.
